Job Purpose:



1) Planning and Designing of SM stores, DC & Zonal Offices according to the concept.



2) Drawing deliverables like Vertical Circulation, Virtual Fixture, and Fixture Plans as per the standard specifications.



3) Planning of store fixture layout with the given parameters by Store Operations team.



4) Briefing external agencies (Architects) for detail design as per drawings approved by management.



Job Context & Major Challenges:



1) Multitasking & working on 10 to 20 layouts at any given point of time.



2) Managing optimization of design to fit with project budget.



3) With the rapidly changing concepts as a business demand, meeting the deliverables for the same.



4) Co-ord seamlessly with Space Planning team with regards to the layout process



Principal Accountabilities:



Design & Development



1) Planning and designing of design deliverables for SM store.



2) Create and implement design solutions that are best in class with respect to customer experience, aesthetic, functionality and within stipulated budget



3) Ensure timely delivery of store design to respective departments for Supermarket.



4) Incorporate into layout the business team’s requirements.



5) Optimum utilization and achieving maximum retail space.



6) Co-ord with space planning team



Financial Management



1) Develop outsourced architects within stipulated budgets



2) Ensuring documentation for changes.



Project Planning & Implementations



1) Ensure timely layout preparation for completion of all projects within timelines.



2) Solving design related issues that arise at the time of implementation.



3) Co-ord with outsourced architects for changes in layouts and all other deliverables.



Value Addition



1) Prepared fixture docket for Supermarket



2) Using software & modifying the program for better design management.



3) Training of Out sourced Architects with regards to our design principals
